Bowed in my Canadian suit jacket, arm tattoos visible under my rolled up sleeves,
do they think I’m seeking redemption?
or perhaps my posture is one of repentance?
Does my worship on the altar surprise them?
Is not this a place to lay my heart’s alms to the LORD?
I love Him, He loves me
I’m with Him, He’s with me
but I know I can get even closer,
